A person has been charged after allegedly following two teenage ladies from the films earlier than chasing them down the road.

The 2 13-year-olds left a cinema in Shellharbour, within the NSW Illawarra area, about 9pm yesterday once they observed the person chasing them.

The ladies hid earlier than the person allegedly approached them and tried to talk with them.
